Tedi Ellis: kinda classy; kinda hood
I was raised in St. Louis, but I have now lived in Columbia, Missouri since 2010. I graduated from the School of Social Work at MU in 2016, with my MSW, and am now happily the owner of TIGER BOUNCE, a proud mama of a 3-year-old diva, dog mama to 3 adorable rescue pups, a christian, coca cola enthusiast, M&M connoisseur, and can forever quote the FRIENDS TV SHOW like no other.
I love ice cream and will not waver in my belief that Dairy Queen can solve any of life's problems.
There's no other place I'd rather be than cuddled up in my bed with a good fudge round, thrift shopping, or spending time laughing at my kid.
In my life, Qdoba will always have a special place in my heart.
I firmly believe in Jesus Christ, but I am known to drink a little, curse a lot, and ask for forgiveness as if it was my second job. I was raised in a Christian home, but I haven't always walked with Christ… and I have failed countless times to trust in His plans and not my own. I have struggled with love, forgiveness, salvation, grace, mercy, shame, hurt, grief, and redemption… but God has remained faithful. On many days, I am terribly lost and angry… but I truly believe that God is bigger than any problem I face and His love is SO much greater than anything else I could ever hope in.

I am often told that there will never be another Tedi Ellis in the world, and while I usually take this as the highest compliment, I am learning as time goes on that this is probably for the best. Tedi Ellis, me, am far from perfect and struggle doing the ordinary.
